Metaplanet Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 3350) has revealed that it has acquired an additional 518 bitcoins as part of its ongoing Bitcoin Treasury Operations. The average price for this acquisition was 17,540,861 yen per bitcoin, which is roughly $118,519, bringing the total investment to approximately 9.086 billion yen, or about $61.4 million.
This recent purchase raises Metaplanet’s total bitcoin holdings to 18,113 bitcoins, further solidifying its position in the cryptocurrency market.
