Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has taken a major step toward going public after submitting a document to kick-start the initial public offering (IPO) process.
According to a June 6 statement, the company has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-1 to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
While details such as the number of shares to be offered and the price range are not disclosed, the move signifies Gemini's intentions to enter the public market.
